Three Indian community groups are organising chartered flights to India in association with Gulf Air.
The Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam (BKS) announced yesterday that it is arranging flights from Dammam to Kochi from March 15 to 18.
Gulf Air will provide bus transportation for passengers from Bahrain to Dammam, from where the flight will depart. The cost per passenger, including the transit visa and transportation charges, will be BD300 per person.
BKS president PV Radhakrishna Pillai told the GDN that the flights on March 15, 16 and 17 are fully booked, and reservations for the flight on March 18 are underway.

Nav Bharat will also be organising a Gulf Air flight from Dammam to India on March 15, priced at BD280 per passenger inclusive of transportation from Bahrain, as well as the Saudi transit visa.
Everyone who registers through the organisation’s Google Form will be booked on the flight to India but the final city destination could be either Delhi, Mumbai, or Kochi, based on the most popular option selected.

Kannada Sangha Bahrain will also arrange a special flight from Dammam to Mumbai on March 16.
It will cost BD280 per passenger, including bus transport and Saudi transit visa.

Seats for the flights are being allotted on a first-come, first-served basis, and each flight will operate only if a minimum of 192 passengers are confirmed.
