The crime rate in Bahrain has decreased by 30 per cent, Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa has said.
The Interior Minister delivered a speech on the occasion of Community Partnership and National Belonging Day, which falls on March 18 every year.
He expressed gratitude to the Bahraini police, officers, non-commissioned officers, and personnel, and appreciated the role of community policing in enhancing community security.
