The election committee of the Bahrain Chamber has set today as the final deadline for submitting nominations for its 31st board of directors, as preparations continue for the upcoming elections.
The committee said 25 candidates have filed their applications so far, noting that all submissions are being reviewed to ensure they meet the requirements set out in the chamber’s law and implementation regulations. The final list of approved candidates will be announced once the review process is complete.
It urged members of the business community to complete their nomination procedures within the specified time frame, stressing that strong participation reflects the private sector’s role in supporting the national economy.
Elections are scheduled for Saturday at the Exhibition World Bahrain in Sakhir. Members were encouraged to take part in what the committee described as a key milestone for the chamber.
The chamber had earlier confirmed that nomination applications would continue to be accepted during the Eid Al Fitr holiday through advance appointments booked via the Skiplino application.
