MOTORSPORT – Bahraini-British motor racing team 2 Seas Motorsport have confirmed a second entry for the 2026 season in the British GT Championship.
The series’ reigning GT3 teams’ champions will see the pairing of Aaron Walker and Kenzie Beecroft share the duties in their #15 Mercedes-AMG GT3 contender, completing a two-car line-up that also features Kevin Tse and Ben Green in their #18 challenger.
2 Seas co-owner Shaikh Isa bin Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa commented: “I’m delighted to confirm Aaron and Kenzie as our second 2026 British GT entry, alongside Kevin and Ben.”
“Running two cars was always the goal as we push to defend our teams’ title, and this is an exciting pairing.
“Aaron is a driver we know well from his step up to GT3, and he’s only gone from strength to strength across Europe since. It’s also fantastic to see Kenzie back after a tough year out through injury – before that, he was already marking himself out as a real talent.”
“Together, they’re an exciting pairing, and one we’re looking forward to seeing develop over the season.”
2 Seas’s participation in the British GT Championship adds to their title bid in the GT World Challenge Europe, making for an exciting 2026 season in two of the continent’s leading GT series.
They are competing in the GT World Challenge Europe’s sprint events with the pair of Chris Lulham and Daniel Juncadella, while Jules Gounon will be joining them for endurance meetings.
2 Seas are scheduled to unveil the new livery for the Mercedes-AMG GT3 of Walker and Beecroft at the official British GT test and media day, taking place Tuesday at Silverstone Circuit in Britain.
The season then commences next month with the Silverstone 500, taking place at the same venue on April 25 and 26. It will be the first of eight rounds on the championship’s 2026 calendar.
Rounds two and three are set for May 23 to 25 at Oulton Park, round four on June 20 and 21 at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium, rounds five and six on August 15 and 16 at Snetterton Circuit, round seven on September 5 and 6 at Donington Park, and then round eight on September 26 and 27 at Brands Hatch.
“It is great to be back racing with 2 Seas Motorsport, where my GT3 journey first began,” said Walker, who will be returning to 2 Seas for his first full-season effort.
“I am really looking forward to seeing what Kenzie and I can achieve together this year, and to being back for a full-season effort in British GT.”
“It’s an exciting project with a clear focus from the outset, and we’re determined to hit the ground running and make this a strong and successful campaign.”
Beecroft, meanwhile, will be marking his rookie campaign in the British GT.
“I am absolutely buzzing to be joining 2 Seas Motorsport alongside Aaron for the 2026 British GT Championship!” he added. “It feels great to be racing back at home, on circuits I know and love.”
“To be racing with a team of this calibre and such a strong driver pairing, I’m more motivated than ever and ready to get stuck in.”
“We’ve got an incredible package behind us, and the goal is simple, fight at the front, chase wins, and go for the title. I want to say a massive thank you to everyone who’s backed me through the highs and lows, now it’s time to repay that faith.”
