The third shuttle transporting Brazilian nationals departed Bahrain for Saudi Arabia on Tuesday to assist them in returning to their home country.
Provided by the Brazilian embassy, the shuttle carried eight nationals to Riyadh, where they boarded onward flights to Brazil.
“The embassy continues to follow the evolution of events, always attentive to their implications for the Brazilian community,” a spokesperson said in a statement shared online.
The first shuttle carrying seven women departed on March 16, crossing the King Fahad Causeway to Dammam and Riyadh. A second shuttle followed on Sunday.
Embassy officials were present during the latest departure to see off the nationals and ensure their journey proceeded smoothly.
