BOXING – BAHRAIN’S boxing national team held a series of joint training sessions with several clubs in Saudi Arabia, hosted by Samurai Gym in the Eastern Province.
The initiative reflects the strategic vision of the Bahrain Boxing Federation to enhance technical exposure and exchange expertise with neighbouring training schools, to maintain boxers at the highest levels of physical and mental preparedness.
The sessions featured a competitive and high-energy atmosphere, with national team fighters taking part in intensive sparring sessions against top athletes from Saudi.
The training provided an opportunity to test their abilities and gain new in-ring experience against opponents with diverse fighting styles, while also contributing to strengthening sporting co-operation between Bahrain and Saudi.
BBF president Rashid Feleyfel commended the positive outcomes of the joint-training, noting that it comes at a time that requires intensified efforts to ensure readiness for upcoming competitions. Feleyfel said that the federation is committed to organising such sessions, driven by a firm belief in the importance of continuous and dedicated work to develop the national team’s technical level.
