Four Grade 12 students from Bhavans-Bahrain Indian School (BIS) have excelled in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026, achieving outstanding results.
The JEE is one of India’s most prestigious and competitive national-level engineering entrance examinations conducted by the National Testing Agency.
BIS students Pranav Bobby Sekhar (98.557 per cent), Ishaan Pande (98.376pc), Ahmad Suhail Wani (93.15pc) and Ettan Abie Cherian (93.117pc) ranked among the top performers in the examination.
“Their remarkable success reflects their dedication, perseverance, and academic excellence,” the school added, in a statement.
“These students have been part of BIS since their primary years.”
BIS’ strong academic foundation and guidance by its teachers played a vital role in building their strength in STEM subjects.
“Their success not only makes the school proud but also inspires their peers to set high goals and strive for excellence,” BIS director Himanshu Verma added.
The JEE Main is a gateway examination for admission to the top engineering institutions in India.
It assesses students’ conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills in physics, chemistry, and mathematics, serving as a benchmark for academic excellence and a stepping stone for advanced studies in engineering and technology.
“We are confident that this milestone will open doors to bright and promising futures in engineering and beyond,” added BIS director Ritu Verma.
