THE Bahrain Strongest Man Championship 2026 takes place today at Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town with wide participation from Bahraini athletes specialising in strength sports.
The event is being held under the patronage of Supreme Council for Youth and Sport first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority chairman, and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
It is a part of Shaikh Khalid’s continued support for strength and endurance sports and efforts to promote their presence on the local scene.
Weigh-ins and technical inspections for participants were held last night, with athletes competing in three categories, including lightweight, middleweight, and heavyweight.
The organising committee confirmed that all technical and organisational preparations have been completed ahead of the championship, which is expected to feature strong competition among participants.
Competitions will include Log Press, XL Bar Deadlift, Yoke Walk, Wheel of Pain, and Power Stairs.
