The event, organised and run by the Asian Taekwondo Union, also acts as a qualifier for the 20th Asian Games scheduled for later this year in Aichi and Nagoya, Japan.
The kingdom’s delegation featured four athletes apiece amongst the women and men. The women’s jins include Fatema Kalawadh, Hanan Alshurooqi, Ola Aldoseri, and Sara Jallab; while the men’s squad includes Muath Ebrahim, Abdulla Alhiddi, Abdulla Aldoseri, and Mohammed Ali Mohammed.
