BATELCO by Beyon has launched Postpaid World, a new consolidated mobile offering that integrates local and international data and minutes into a single plan starting from BD15 per month.
The new plan is designed to eliminate additional setup requirements and hidden roaming fees for frequent travellers, including GCC commuters and business professionals. Roaming capabilities are automatically activated across more than 140 international destinations, allowing users to maintain their existing mobile plans abroad without switching SIM cards or managing multiple subscriptions.
Batelco chief consumer officer Aseel Mattar said the plan addresses a common challenge for frequent travellers by removing the inconvenience of activating separate roaming services or managing additional eSIMs while moving between countries. She added that the unified plan allows customers to use data and minutes seamlessly at home and abroad, simplifying the travel connectivity experience.
The initiative reflects Batelco’s ongoing commitment to delivering innovative telecom solutions that combine value, convenience, and cost efficiency for its subscriber base.
Details of the Postpaid World plans include two distinct tiers based on monthly subscription fees.
The Postpaid World BD15 plan offers a combined local and roaming data allowance of 15GB, along with unlimited local social media and unlimited minutes to Batelco lines. It also provides 150 minutes that can be used for calls to other local operators as well as for roaming minutes.
The higher-tier Postpaid World BD30 plan increases the combined local and roaming data allowance to 40GB. Similar to the base plan, it features unlimited local social media and unlimited minutes to Batelco lines, while offering an expanded allowance of 400 minutes for calls to other local operators and roaming minutes.
