Bahrain residents can expect a stretch of scorching weather just as the Eid Al Adha holidays get underway.
Skies will remain clear from Wednesday through to Friday, with maximum temperatures steadily climbing from 41°C to a peak of 44°C on Friday, while overnight lows will hover between 26°C and 27°C.
A slight reprieve from the intense heat is expected over the weekend, with mercury levels dipping to 40°C on both Saturday and Sunday alongside a few passing clouds.
