Football fans can now catch up on all the action at the FIFA World Cup 2026 at The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain’s Football Fanzone, which is now open at La Med.
Watch the matches live on a dedicated three-metre screen and tuck into a food menu filled with light snacks and breakfast favourites, inspired by the host nations, Mexico, Canada and the United States, catering to those late night or early morning kick-offs.
The property’s Director of Food and Beverage Jaehak Lee said: “The FIFA World Cup 2026 is the most exciting sports event in the world. The Football Fanzone at La Med is prepared for everyone to enjoy. The venue will have two screens available, one with Arabic commentary and one with English.”
The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain’s Executive Chef Joergen Sodemann celebrated the cuisine created for the fanzone, adding: “Our Chef De Cuisine, César de Jesus Gil, has created a beautiful menu representing the three hosting countries of the World Cup, namely Mexico, the US and Canada, showcasing delights such as ceviche and lobster roll, pizzas, burgers and tacos, plus breakfast offerings like steak and eggs, and even pancakes and maple syrup!”
