ATHLETICS – MORE than 100 participants of all ages and abilities joined in on the annual Eid run and walk organised by the Bahrain Social Runners.
The sporting and social event was sponsored by Emad Almoayed, widely regarded as the dean of runners in the kingdom. For more than 30 years, Almoayed has continuously backed this special event during Bahrain’s Eid celebrations, making it one of the most popular occasions for running and walking enthusiasts across the kingdom.
The run and walk started from Almoayed Village near the National Stadium in Riffa, and it concluded with a traditional Bahraini breakfast.
Bahrain Social Runners expressed their sincere appreciation to Almoayed for his unwavering support and dedication to promoting running and walking in Bahrain.
