FOOTBALL – The Bahrain Football Association (BFA) announced yesterday the appointment of Esraa Ali Al Sarhan as head coach of the BFA’s girls’ football academy team.
This ambitious step comes within the framework of the BFA’s women’s committee’s efforts to promote women’s football in the kingdom and develop its foundational base.
Through this strategy, the academy aims to discover promising talents amongst girls born between 2009 and 2014, and refine their skills according to modern training practices to ensure the development of a distinguished generation of footballers capable of representing the national teams in the future.
Al Sarhan has already begun her duties with daily training sessions to identify promising young players.
