A Kuwaiti security officer lost his right leg after being seriously injured in a drone strike on Kuwait International Airport’s Terminal 1 on June 3.
Ayed Al Otaibi was responding to the emergency when he sustained critical injuries during the attack, which was part of a wider bombardment that disrupted airport operations and damaged civilian infrastructure.
He was given first aid at the scene before being transferred, along with other injured personnel, to hospital for further treatment.
