More than 155 donors from six nationalities participated in a blood donation camp organised by the Thattai Hindu Community (THC) yesterday, in association with Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC).
The initiative was organised at Shrinathji Shri Krishna Temple in Manama.
The programme has been a cornerstone of the community’s activities for the past 30 years and is organised four times a year, with an average of more than 150 donors each quarter.
The THC continues to play a vital role in supporting Bahrain’s Central Blood Bank.
THC chairman Mahesh Bhatia expressed his gratitude to the SMC team for their co-operation and thanked all donors and volunteers for their selfless contributions. He reaffirmed the community’s long-standing commitment to life-saving causes in Bahrain.
