A summer camp featuring specialised training workshops and interactive programmes has been launched by Honour Code for Pioneering Educational Training.
Titled My Nation: Unity and Loyalty, the programme runs until July 15 at the institute’s office in the Diplomatic Area.
The institution’s chief executive officer, Dr Maha Alshorbaji, said the initiative aims to strengthen values of loyalty and national belonging among participants, while developing skills in information verification and critical thinking, and reinforcing principles of positive citizenship and social responsibility.
The programme targets private sector employees, entrepreneurs, youth and university students.
It also seeks to raise awareness of Bahrain’s national values and identity, foster pride in them, and highlight the importance of active participation in serving society and the nation.
Experts and specialists from local community institutions, including representatives from the Executive Office of the National Plan to Promote National Belonging and Reinforce the Values of Citizenship (Bahrainouna) at the Interior Ministry, as well as academics from universities and higher education institutions are expected to take part in the workshops.
