BAHRAIN called for joint Arab action as it believes this is the most effective approach to safeguarding the interests of the Arab nation and fulfilling the aspirations of its peoples.
This came when Parliament Speaker Ahmed Al Musallam and Shura Council Chairman Ali Saleh Al Saleh spoke at the 8th Conference of the Arab Parliament and Speakers of Arab Councils and Parliaments, held in co-operation with the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union in Cairo.
The meeting discussed external attacks targeting Arab states and means to formulate a unified parliamentary position emphasising the importance of safeguarding the security, stability and sovereignty of Arab states in the face of external threats.
