An event has been held to promote the values of unity, belonging and shared Arab identity among youngsters.
Youth Affairs Minister Rawan Tawfiqi yesterday took part in the ‘Arab Mosaic’ event, which was organised by the ministry with the participation of young people from Bahrain and across the Arab world.
The event formed part of the ministry’s efforts to strengthen communication and co-operation among Arab youth.
The minister highlighted the significance of Arab Youth Day, observed annually on July 5, as an opportunity to recognise the vital role of young people in shaping the present and future of Arab societies.
The event featured a creative workshop at Mosaic House, where participants from Bahrain and other Arab countries collaborated to produce artworks reflecting the cultural, artistic and heritage landmarks of their respective countries.
The workshop concluded with the creation of a collaborative mural inspired by the participating Arab states, symbolising unity, solidarity and the shared heritage.
