The Statistical Centre of the GCC (GCC-Stat) has announced that the combined economy of the Gulf countries reached approximately $2.4 trillion at current prices in 2025, maintaining its position among the world’s 10 largest economies.
In its latest national accounts data for 2025, the centre said the GCC economy accounted for 64.4 per cent of the Arab world’s total GDP, underlining the bloc’s significant economic weight and its central role in supporting the Arab economy.
The data also showed that GCC countries contributed around 2pc of global GDP in 2025, reflecting their continued influence on the international economy.
