A Saudi national has been arrested for allegedly shooting dead a Sudanese expatriate at a camel market in Kuwait.
According to the Arab Times, the suspect confessed to the killing, claiming the attack was prompted by an argument between the victim and the suspect’s father.
During the altercation, the victim allegedly assaulted the suspect's father. The accused stated that this assault triggered him to seek revenge. He subsequently went to the market armed with a Kalashnikov rifle and fired several shots.
Two bullets struck the victim, causing fatal injuries. Two camels were also killed during the shooting.
