As part of its ongoing efforts to develop the early childhood education sector and enhance the quality of its outcomes in line with the strategic plan and the principles of Bahrain Economic Vision 2030, the Education Ministry has launched the National Vocational Training Framework for employees of early childhood education institutions in Bahrain.
Education Ministry director of licensing and follow-up of early schools Fathia Ali Aish said the framework serves as a unified national reference for regulating and guiding professional development programmes, contributing to capacity building, empowering national competencies, and enhancing professional readiness in line with international best practices and standards in early childhood education.
She said it provides the primary reference for licensed training institutions to design, develop, and deliver training programmes for employees of early childhood education institutions, ensuring unified quality standards, meeting professional development needs, and supporting the sector’s development.
She added that adopting the framework marks a strategic milestone in the development of the early childhood education sector by strengthening the professional competencies of its workforce and improving the quality of educational practices.
She noted that it reflects the ministry’s commitment to investing in national talent, preparing future generations and enhancing the kingdom’s regional and international standing in early childhood education.
