His Majesty King Hamad received Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA) chairman Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, who presented him with a copy of Sifat Al Safwa by the renowned Islamic scholar Ibn Al Jawzi.
The book was edited and published by the council.
The King expressed appreciation for the gift, noting the book’s valuable contribution to Islamic heritage.
He emphasised the book includes important chapters on the life of the Prophet Mohammed, his noble character, worship and virtues, as well as the lives of the Muslim Caliphs, the Prophet’s companions and the succeeding generation.
The King commended the efforts of Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid through his leadership of SCIA in serving religion and the kingdom. He expressed appreciation for the council’s role in promoting the values of Islam based on moderation, tolerance and human coexistence, as well as its contributions to preserving Islamic heritage.
Shaikh Abdulrahman expressed appreciation to the King for his efforts in serving Islam and Muslims, support for knowledge and scholars, charitable and humanitarian initiatives, and for the council’s programmes and activities.
