Gulf Air has launched promotional fares to Kuala Lumpur ahead of the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia 2026.
This follows the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) and Sepang International Circuit (SIC) announcing the launch of ticket sales for the highly anticipated race weekend, taking place from October 2 to 4 at SIC.
Running through August 21, the national carrier is offering one-way economy class tickets starting from BD65, inclusive of all taxes and surcharges. The special fares apply to direct flights operating between September 29 and March 27, 2027.
Gulf Air’s direct service to the Malaysian capital resumes on September 29, restoring direct connectivity to Southeast Asia.
To mark the race event, Gulf Air Holidays is rolling out customisable packages combining flights, accommodation, airport transfers and Grand Prix event passes.
As the title sponsor of the event, the airline aims to connect motorsport fans and leisure travellers directly to Kuala Lumpur’s landmark attractions, shopping districts and cultural hubs.
Bookings are available via gulfair.com, the airline’s contact centre, local sales offices, and authorised travel agents.
Tickets for grandstands and general admission areas are now available for this unique event as the spirit of Bahrain comes to Malaysia.
Tickets for all international fans (non-Malaysian citizens) are available via the BIC website bahraingp.com.
General admission tickets start from $219 per person for three days, whilst grandstand seats start at $350 and the iconic Main Grandstand is priced at $566 for three days. All prices are inclusive of tax.
Fans are urged to purchase their tickets as soon as possible as tickets for the race weekend are expected to be in high demand.
