The United Arab Emirates has suspended all trade activities, commercial exchanges, and financial transactions with Iran until further notice, citing rising regional tensions.
Afra Al Hameli, Director of Strategic Communications at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), confirmed that the decision was taken in light of escalations that undermine regional and international peace and security.
She added that the UAE remains committed to safeguarding the integrity of the global financial system in line with international law.
