Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has ordered a series of measures to support Saudi citizens, including a SAR500 increase in monthly allowances and a higher wage threshold under the Nitaqat Saudisation programme.
The order will apply to all eligible citizens under the civil services pay scale, as well as retirees and beneficiaries under the Social Insurance Law.
The support measures coincide with upcoming adjustments to domestic electricity and water consumption tariffs scheduled to take effect at the start of 2027.
