The body of a second missing Bahraini was found near the Nurana coast in Salman Town, the Interior Ministry announced yesterday.
Abdulla Mohammed, 34, was found close to the location where the body of the first missing person, identified as Isa Mohammed, was found last Friday.
“The Public Prosecution has been notified and legal steps are being taken regarding the incident,” added the Coastguard in a statement.
Interior Minister’s adviser for community affairs Ali bin Shaikh Khalaf Al Asfoor conveyed the condolences of the minister, Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, to the family of Isa Mohammed.
During his visit to the bereaved family, Mr Al Asfoor reaffirmed the ministry’s solidarity with citizens in times of hardship.
