MMA – BRAVE Combat Federation (BRAVE CF) announced yesterday a thrilling fight card for BRAVE CF 108 as it gets set to open a new frontier in its European expansion and brings its global spectacle to Croatia for the first time on September 5.
The historic mixed martial arts (MMA) showcase will unfold inside the iconic Pula Arena, one of the world’s best-preserved Roman amphitheatres, adding a unique backdrop to an event that will further expand the promotion’s extraordinary international reach.
Croatia represents the latest addition to BRAVE CF’s ever-growing European map, building an unrivaled presence on the continent in less than a decade and establishing the largest share of the European MMA market while taking its events to 38 countries across the globe.
With BRAVE CF 108, Croatia becomes the 18th European country and 39th nation overall to host the Bahrain-born sporting property.
The milestone reflects its distinctive international strategy of taking world-class MMA to established and emerging markets alike.
The evening will feature two compelling match-ups at the top of the bill.
Croatian standout Andi ‘Highlight Machine’ Vrtacic will make the most of his homecoming when he faces France’s Sofiane Bouafia in a three-round middleweight contest, serving as the main event.
Meanwhile, Filipino star Stephen ‘The Sniper’ Loman will square off with Georgian sensation Lasha Abramishvili in a crucial battle that could determine the next challenger for the vacant BRAVE CF bantamweight world championship in the co-headliner.
Seven other match-ups will also take place inside Pula Arena, completing a nine-bout fight card designed to showcase the international depth that has become synonymous with BRAVE CF.
