A motorcyclist in Colombia narrowly avoided severe injury after running a stop sign at speed and colliding with a transit bus.
Surveillance footage from August 30 captured the moment the rider sped through an intersection directly into the side of the passing vehicle. Because the bus’s rear doors were open at the exact moment of impact, the force of the crash launched the rider straight into the passenger cabin rather than against the exterior frame.
Interior security cameras showed the man disoriented on the floor of the vehicle immediately following the collision.
Local authorities reported that despite the high-speed impact, the rider survived without major injuries.
