Two young Omani men who went missing after their vessel sank during a fishing trip were found safe and unharmed on an island off the coast of Seeb on Wednesday evening.
Joint search-and-rescue operations involving the Royal Oman Police Coast Guard, police aircraft, and local fishing vessels were launched to track down the missing duo.
Following hours of intensive searches, the pair were spotted by a local fisherman in the Daymaniyat Islands and confirmed to be in good health.
