Bahrain strongly condemned the repeated Iranian missile and drone attacks on Kuwait.
It stressed that they constitute a flagrant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty and security, a grave breach of international law and the UN Charter, and a violation of the principles of good-neighbourliness as well as UN Security Council Resolution.
The attacks undermine de-escalation efforts and threaten regional security, the Foreign Ministry said, reaffirming Bahrain’s full solidarity with Kuwait and its support for all measures taken to defend its sovereignty.
Kuwait’s army said earlier in the day that it was confronting hostile attacks from Iran.
