His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and chairman of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) board of trustees Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa has commended the outstanding achievements of RHF affiliates, describing them as the outcome of the parental care of His Majesty, the foundation’s Honorary President.
He also praised the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Shaikh Nasser made the remarks while patronising the 22nd ceremony honouring outstanding students, which was organised by the RHF at the Shaikh Abdulaziz Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Hall at the University of Bahrain in Sakhir.
The ceremony was attended by RHF vice chairmen Shaikh Adnan bin Abdulla Al Qattan and Dr Mustafa Al Sayed, acting secretary-general Ibrahim Al Doseri, along with a number of officials and guests as well as the parents of the honoured students.
Shaikh Nasser expressed pride in the outstanding academic results achieved by RHF beneficiaries, stressing that Bahrain’s outstanding students are a national asset whose knowledge and skills contribute to the kingdom’s development and progress. He noted that this year’s ceremony holds special significance as it coincides with the foundation’s silver jubilee.
Shaikh Nasser congratulated the outstanding students and their parents on this achievement, wishing them continued success and excellence.
He urged them to become active partners in building the nation’s future, commending their efforts, the support provided by their families and the foundation’s role in supporting them throughout their educational journey.
The ceremony honoured 773 male and female students from various educational stages who achieved an average of 95 per cent or above during the 2025-2026 academic year, making it the largest ceremony held to honour outstanding RHF students.
The ceremony also honoured 20 students who won the Leadership and Excellence Award for achieving the highest grades at the end of each educational stage, in addition to the remaining outstanding RHF students, from primary school through university.
