Bahrain chaired the 65th Co-ordination Meeting of the Ministers of Labour of the GCC member states, held in Cairo, with the participation of Bharain’s Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative of the kingdom to the Arab League Fawzia Zainal.
The Ambassador stressed the importance of continuing co-ordination on labour-related issues of mutual interest, in a manner that strengthens the presence and positions of the GCC member states in relevant Arab and regional fora.
The meeting discussed a number of items on the agenda of the 52nd session of the Arab Labour Conference, scheduled to be held in Cairo till September 20, starting
yesterday.
