Bahrain’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Abdulla Abdulla held a meeting with United Nations Office in Vienna director-general and UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) executive director Monica Juma in his capacity as the representative of the country holding the presidency of the 46th session of the GCC.
They discussed ways to strengthen co-operation between the GCC member states, the United Nations Office in Vienna and the UNODC.
They also stressed the importance of continuing co-ordination between the GCC member states and the UNODC, in addition to strengthening bilateral co-operation, in a manner that contributes to supporting security and stability, enhancing partnership in the implementation of joint programmes and initiatives, building capacities and exchanging expertise in areas of mutual interest.
The meeting was held at the Permanent Mission of the GCC.
