Parliament Speaker Ahmed Al Musallam strongly condemned the escalation of terrorist attacks carried out by the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militia against Saudi.
The Speaker said the continued attempts to target civilians and civilian objects constitute a blatant violation of international law, international humanitarian law, the United Nations Charter and relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
In a cable to Speaker of the Shura Council of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Sheikh, he affirmed full parliamentary solidarity with Saudi and support for all measures it undertakes to safeguard its sovereignty, security and stability and protect its citizens and residents on its territory, in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter
