The Bahrain Football Association (BFA) has overturned Muharraq's 3-1 win over Manama in the third round of the Nasser bin Hamad Premier League. The BFA has ruled that Muharraq forfeited the match with a score of 3-0.
The decision comes after Muharraq player Mohamed Al Banna's participation as a substitute in the match, despite his name not appearing on the official squad list submitted by the club to the match commissioner or referee. This is in violation of the BFA's competition regulations and bylaws.
As a result of this decision, all three goals scored by Muharraq during the match have been nullified. Additionally, the team has been fined BD100.
