ENDURANCE HORSERACING – His Majesty King Hamad’s humanitarian work and youth affairs representative, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) chairman, and Bahrain Royal Endurance Team captain Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa participated in the 160-kilometre Qatar International Endurance Race.
Present were Supreme Council for Environment vice-president, Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club High Committee deputy chairman, and SCYS member Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, along with Bahrain’s Ambassador to Qatar Mohammed bin Ali Al Ghatam.
Shaikh Nasser met with Qatari Businessmen Association board member and Al Nasser Stables owner Sheikh Nawaf bin Nasser Al Thani.
Shaikh Nasser also received a commemorative gift from Qatar Endurance Racing Club chairman Sheikh Mohammed bin Nawaf Al Thani.
Shaikh Nasser reiterated the Royal Endurance Team’s commitment to participating in the Qatar International Endurance Race as part of its approved programme and to fulfilling the necessary qualifying requirements for the upcoming World Endurance Championship, which will be held in the UAE.
Shaikh Nasser noted that such participation enhances the readiness of the Royal Endurance Team’s riders and horses and helps assess their technical levels ahead of upcoming events.
Shaikh Nasser said the team benefited from the participation and expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the race’s organising committee and their commitment to creating an ideal atmosphere for all participants.
