A celebrated installation by Bahraini artist Shaikh Rashid Al Khalifa has been exhibited at the recent Contemporary Istanbul art fair in Türkiye.
Titled ‘Inhabited Crate’,” the open steel-grid structure was located on Tersane Istanbul’s historic waterfront overlooking the Golden Horn.
“The historic setting enabled dialogue between the work and its surroundings,” said Shaikh Rashid, who serves as Bahrain National Arts Council chairman.
The 21st edition of Contemporary Istanbul brought together artists, galleries, collectors and art professionals from around the world.
