Bahrain will dedicate next year to the legacy of the late Amir HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, with His Majesty King Hamad declaring 2027 the Year of Isa bin Salman.
His Majesty made the announcement as he opened the exceptional fifth session of the sixth legislative term today, paying tribute to the late leader’s lifelong service to Bahrain and its progress and development.
The initiative honours Shaikh Isa’s legacy, recognises his contributions to the kingdom and seeks to carry forward the principles and approach that shaped his leadership.
Describing the late Amir as a leader and father to all, His Majesty said the designation would commemorate his noble life and dedication to serving his country and advancing its progress.
