KLUDI, the German bathroom and kitchen fittings specialist and part of the RAK Ceramics Group, will participate in Downtown Design 2026, taking place at Dubai Design District (d3) from November 4 to 8.
At Stand A19, KLUDI will present a selection of bathroom solutions, with a featured collaboration with architect Joe Tabet bringing together architectural thinking, material efficiency and contemporary sanitary design.
The showcase will explore the relationship between form, proportion, materiality and functionality, presenting bathroom products designed to balance aesthetic expression with everyday use.
Joining hands with Joe Tabet
The collaboration brings together KLUDI’s expertise in sanitary design and innovation with the architectural vision of Joe Tabet, Founder of JT+Partners. With more than 25 years of international experience across hospitality, residential, mixed-use and master planning projects, Joe is known for an approach that places people and the experience of space at the heart of design. His architectural philosophy explores how form, proportion, materiality and functionality come together to create distinctive, meaningful and environmentally responsible design, from the overall built space to the smallest details. This shared appreciation for thoughtful design connects Joe’s architectural perspective with KLUDI’s commitment to creating con-temporary bathroom solutions that balance aesthetic expression and everyday functionality.
The partnership integrates the distinctive design languages of KLUDI-REFLOW, characterised by the purity of rounded forms, and KLUDI-REFRAME, which reinterprets soft-square geometry for contemporary bathroom spaces, alongside the versatility of KLUDI-MODUS countertop washbasins.
Beyond their aesthetic appeal, KLUDI-REFLOW, KLUDI-REFRAME and KLUDI-MODUS embody a design approach that considers environmental impact alongside form and functionality. Through advanced manufacturing techniques that maximise material efficiency, the col-lections achieve an optimised finished-product weight while enhancing overall production efficiency and yield. These efficiencies help reduce resource consumption and contribute to lowering the products’ carbon footprint. Reflecting the principles of rethinking form and optimising resource use, KLUDI-REFLOW, KLUDI-REFRAME and KLUDI-MODUS demonstrate how design innovation can support more responsible manufacturing, offering architects and designers solutions that balance aesthetic expression with greater material efficiency and environmental consideration.
