Friends of former Bahrain resident Greta Otteson, who tragically died alongside her fiancé from methanol poisoning in Vietnam, are raising funds to honour her memory by helping stray dogs in Bahrain find safe, loving homes abroad.
The initiative, named Project Bambi, aims to give vulnerable animals a second chance at life by arranging their relocation to the UK or Canada, where they can be adopted .
