Customs president Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa visited HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) in London, where he met several officials, with delegations from both sides present, to discuss means to strengthen customs co-operation between Bahrain and the United Kingdom and exchange expertise and experiences in developing customs operations and facilitating trade.
Both sides reviewed HMRC’s organisational structure, governance frameworks, customs compliance strategies and performance development initiatives .
