Bahrain Real Estate Investment Company (Edamah), the real estate arm of sovereign wealth fund Mumtalakat, has signed a strategic framework with Saudi-listed Retal Urban Development Company to jointly invest in, develop, and manage a phased mixed-use project within the Bilaj Al Jazayer masterplan.
The announcement was made on the sidelines of Gateway Gulf 2026, marking Retal’s entry into the Bahraini real estate market .
