A mechanical supervisor has been found to be responsible for the death of a flatbed truck driver as the two attempted to transfer an excavator on to a truck.The defendant, who is in his 60s, had attempted to drive the excavator onto the platform despite not being trained for the task, or having any experience, when he accidentally struck the driver’s head with the machine’s bucket .
