Saudi women remain banned from riding motorbikes and quad bikes, said the General Directorate of Traffic, Akhbaar24 reported.
“The decision to allow women to drive is restricted to cars only,” said official traffic spokesman Colonel Tarak Al Rubaiyan in a statement.
Under the traffic regulations, women are banned from sitting on the pillion – the seat behind the rider of the motorbike.
