Seven Bahrainis aged between 18 and 23 have been arrested for allegedly stealing gold jewellery, watches, and other valuable items worth more than BD800,000.
According to the Capital Governorate Police Directorate, the suspects exploited the homeowners’ absence to carry out the theft.
A complaint lodged by one of the victims enabled investigators to identify and apprehend the individuals involved.
The stolen items were found in their possession, hidden in various locations.
One of the suspects was already in custody in connection with another security-related case. The case has been referred to the Public Prosecution.
