Kuwait Fire Force announced that fires at the Ministries Complex and the oil sector complex, caused by hostile drone attacks, have been brought under control and fully extinguished, noting that damage was limited to material losses with no human casualties reported.
This came in a statement delivered during the media briefing by Brigadier Mohammed Al Ghareeb, the Director of Public Relations and Media and official spokesperson of Kuwait Fire Force, the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
Firefighting teams, in cooperation with oil sector teams, are currently dealing with another blaze that affected a number of operational facilities affiliated with Kuwait Petroleum Corporation as a result of similar hostile drone targeting, with efforts ongoing to contain the fire and prevent its spread.
Brigadier Al Ghareeb noted that since the beginning of the aggression, the Kuwait Fire Force has handled 98 non-routine reports, including fires caused by debris or direct targeting, in addition to carrying out site security operations in various parts of the country.
