Manama: His Majesty King Hamad attended a ceremony in celebration of the great success achieved by brave and loyal members of BDF’s Task Force One in Yemen in the liberation of Marib and taking full control of Bab Al Mandab.
Present was BDF Commander-in-Chief Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
His Majesty expressed thanks and deep pride in the courage and high level of competence demonstrated by the heroes and their keenness to hold the national banner high forever.
They proved to be up to the noble mission they were entrusted with and were also the best support for their brethren from other coalition nations, His Majesty said, hailing their heroic sacrifices as a source of pride for all Bahrainis, which will be engraved in the kingdom’s history.
