TEAMS participating in the BNP Paribas Fed Cup (Women Asia II) are expected to start arriving today.
The event is being organised by Bahrain Tennis Federation under the supervision of the International Tennis Federation, from Tuesday to February 10 at the federation’s courts in Isa Town.
The organising committee, led by deputy president of BTF Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Mubarak Al Khalifa has been working tirelessly to complete all the necessary arrangements for hosting the event in coordination with Bahrain Olympic Committee, the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs, the Ministry of Interior and other government departments.
The 14 participating countries include Indonesia, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, New Zealand, Oman, Pacific Oceania, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Uzbekistan and hosts Bahrain.
