Jeddah – The overall Saudi population stood at 32/6 million in the first half of 2017, rising by 870,000 people compared with end of 2016.
The latest demographic figures put the overall Saudi population at 32,552,336, up from 31,742,308 in 2016, rising by 2.52%.
Males make up 57.48% and females 42.52% last year, up from 57.44% and 42.56% respectively in 2016.
The authorities surveyed 20, 408, 362 Saudi nationals, making up 62.69% of the overall population , up from 20, 064, 970 in 2016 – an increase by 343,392 Saudi nationals.
The Saudi society is gender-balanced as males make up 50.94%, while females represent 49.9% of the Saudi-born population.
The expatriate non-Saudi population makes up 37% overall to stand at 12.2 million.
